Temu to boost Australian regional deliveries

Online marketplace Temu has partnered with Team Global Express (TGE) to bolster its deliveries across Australia, including into regional areas.
The partnership will provide Temu with increased capacity to help support growing volumes and access hard-to-reach regional areas in the local market.
The move will support regional economic growth, expand volume across TEG’s network and create over 50 new driver jobs.
“Working together, this partnership represents progress in action for Australian consumers, our network, and the local retail ecosystem,” said TGE MD Dwain McDonald.
“Importantly, the partnership also supports economic uplift in regional Australia, having helped create more than 50 new driver roles and increased volume flows throughout Team Global Express’s 300-strong agent network.”
The partnership will enable a direct linehaul into Cairns, a first for both companies, reducing transit times and improving delivery services for Northern Queensland customers.
Earlier this month, TGE delivered its 1 millionth package for Temu in Australia.
