Yotpo appoints former Twitter Australia MD as new VP

Former MD of Twitter Australia Suzy Nicoletti has been appointed VP and GM of e-commerce marketing platform Yotpo.

Japanese company Yotpo was launched in Australia at the end of last year and has signed big brands like Rip Curl, Kmart, General Pants and others along with a multi-year platform collaboration with Shopify and capital raise of $317 million to propel expansion.

Since its launch, the company has increased its customer base by 100 per cent generating local revenue of 350 per cent. It has also tripled its staff numbers and has been on the lookout for talents as part of its expansion plans.

“Since Covid restrictions amplified consumer appetites to shop online, Australia has produced more e-commerce businesses than we’ve seen to date, and it’s reflected in our overwhelming growth,” said David Michaeli, head of new markets at Yotpo as reported by the Women’s Agenda.

In her new role, Nicoletti will assist in expanding operations across Asia-Pacific from Sydney. She spent eight years working as a Google executive before joining Twitter.
