Winning announces retail leadership change, acquires bathroom retailer

Online powerhouse Winning Group has acquired bathroom retailer Rogerseller, adding a new fixture in Winning’s plethora of home appliance offerings.

The acquisition will be overseen by Jo Devery, who is stepping up to the plate as CEO of Winning’s retail division, where she will head up Winning Appliances, Winning Appliances Commercial, Rogerseller and the business’ customer experience.

Founder John Winning said the acquisition complements the business’ kitchen, laundry and home appliances offering, and that the Rogerseller team will be retained in the acquisition.

“Both the Winning Group and Rogerseller share many similarities, including being century-old family-run businesses, having a strong focus on providing exceptional customer service and offering customers the world’s best brands,” Winning said.

“The Winning Group has achieved strong growth over the past 12 months and we will continue to look for strategic acquisitions and investments to compliment our customer offering.”

Rogerseller managing director James Edmonds will continue in his role through the transition and will then retire from day-to-day operations and responsibilities – with that responsibility picked up by Devery.

“We are delighted that Rogerseller is joining the Winning Group and that we will now be able to offer Australians, multi sensory shopping experiences for their kitchens, laundries and bathrooms,” Devery said.

“I want to thank John Winning for his continued support and I look forward to working with the Winning Appliances and Rogerseller teams located around the country to achieve our company mission and to impress every customer”.
