US cookware brand Our Place launches online in Australia

US cookware brand Our Place is making its pureplay debut in the Australian market with a range of toxin-free and eco-conscious kitchenware.

The brand’s core philosophy centres on the idea that home cooking can unite people and foster connections around the dining table.

Founded by women and immigrants, the company says it greatly emphasises cultural diversity and inclusivity.

For example, its Traditionware collection pays homage to global cooking traditions, including Diwali, Nowruz, Lunar New Year, Pride, Nochebuena, and more.

Its flagship product, the Always Pan, is a versatile cooking tool that has been dubbed “the kitchen magician” by Oprah Winfrey and “the pan for just about anything” by the New York Times.

Our Place is co-founded by Shiza Shahid, a former CEO of the Malala Fund and recognised by Time Magazine as one of the “30 Under 30 World Changers.” 

Raised in Pakistan, Shiza’s cultural background and experiences led to the company’s inception in 2019.
