True Woo unveils a holistic online wellness marketplace
Australian wellness company True Woo has launched a one-stop-shop online platform for alternative health practices, wellness information, products and practitioners.
The platform aims to bring like-minded individuals under one umbrella. Customers can pre-order content, access group classes, book one-on-one sessions and seek wellness services on the website.
“We will be focused on bringing more products and practitioners onto the platform and building up our base of reputable health resources, enabling the wellness eco-system to thrive,” said Adam Matheson, CEO of True Woo.
The company’s founder Rachel (Tonkin) Dur established the company after suffering from breast cancer at the age of 35. According to her, there was a lack of access to holistic wellness services and information in the market which prompted the idea.
“True Woo will allow people to discover products and services that may previously have flown under their radar. I am excited to shine the light and support products and practitioners that are doing amazing things for people and the planet,” she said.
The new marketplace was created with the help of software company Marketplacer, which will manage its backend.
