The Iconic opens warehouse, HQ as bushfire donation hub

Online marketplace The Iconic has opened its CBD headquarters and Western Sydney fulfilment centre to function as drop-off hubs for donations intended to support bushfire-impacted communities.

The business is accepting specific, new, non-perishable goods, as well as wildlife care items.

While The Iconic recently contributed to bushfire relief in the short-term through the ‘All In’ campaign, this initiative allows the business to provide a more medium- to long-term effort, and aims to provide extra storage space to charities that are being overwhelmed by donations.

“Bushfire recovery is a complex and on-going issue that Australians will be grappling with for months – if not years – to come,” The Iconic chief executive Erica Berchtold said.

“We wanted to ensure that our approach provides assistance to those in need not just immediately via financial support, but in the difficult times ahead through a long-term solution that supports the urgent storage and fulfilment needs of various charity organisations.

“We know this support plan may change over the weeks and months based on advice from these charity organisations, but our commitment will be continuous and endure for as long as these communities, our charity partner Thread Together, and wildlife care organisations need our support.”

Drop-off days are limited to every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of January, between 8 am and 4 pm.
