Smarty’s sales surge 91 per cent as it launches Australian foray

Premier online shopping destination Smarty has reported a 91 per cent increase in user growth as it expands its product offerings.

The company’s flagship product, the SmartyPlus app, helps shoppers apply promo codes hidden in their inbox to their shopping cart as well as earn cashback on purchases from more than 38,000 global merchants.

The app also provides consumers with food delivery service rebates, price protection, fuel rebates, air travel rebates, free or discounted shipping, and late package notifications.

Last year, the company expanded its operations overseas into Australia, New Zealand, the UK and Canada and scaled its product development by launching new features to suit evolving customer needs.

Vipin Porwal, CEO and founder of Smarty, said: “Our rapid growth is a result of delivering a service that people truly want and need, which is savings and fair dealings with merchants across the entire e-commerce space.”

In January, it launched two new products such as SmartRx and SmartRx+ which help consumers save on prescriptions, vaccines, office visits, eye care and pet medicines.
