Shopping.com offers new product review service + iPhone app

Shopping.com launches Product Review Service for Australian Etailers and an iPhone app for shopping.comAustralian Consumers.

16/2/2010: Shopping.com, au.shopping.com, consistently receiving over 1.5 million unique visitors each month according to Nielsen Netratings, today announced the launch of their new Product Review Service (PRS)* for Australian etailers.

The new service allows etailers to quickly and easily add consumer review functionality to their sites. The attractive interface includes overall ratings, review tags, rating helpfulness and sharing to popular sites such as Facebook, Twitter, and MySpace, and much more.

 

Adam Canter from Shopping.com said, ‘Studies show more than 70% of online consumers look to product reviews before making a purchase decision and that displaying product reviews can demonstrate more than a 100% increase in conversion to sale, we are extremely excited to bring this into the Australian market after several months of Beta testing in the US and UK’

Product reviews are rapidly becoming a must-have for leading ecommerce sites, but can be costly for a retailer to build and maintain. PRS offers etailers an easy-to-integrate, low-cost, full service solution that is tailored to their customers.

*PRS is currently only available to etailers enrolled in the Shopping.com Merchant Program.

Shopping.com also announced the launch of their new iPhone app for the Australian market today. Bringing the power and convenience of Shopping.com to the iPhone, shoppers all over Australia can simply and conveniently find the right product at the right price from the right merchant…..from Havaiana’s to the Nokia N95.
