Princess Polly taps YouTube star for new collection

Online fast fashion retailer Princess Polly has once again teamed up with a social media influencer to design and launch a new collection.

The retailer last week held a launch party for the 16-piece collection designed by YouTube star Sammy Robinson, who boasts 600,000 followers. The items are expected to go on sale this week.

Launching in sizes 6 to 16, the range promises earthy colour palettes, flattering fits, linen blends and a chic holiday-luxe vibe, with something to suit every shape.

“I wanted to create classic pieces that are closet staples, which is why I really put focus on making sure I’m utterly obsessed with the cut and fabric of each style. I want everyone to be able to wear this range and have it in their wardrobe for a really long time,” Robinson said.

Teasing a preview of the collection to her followers last week, Robinson said has dreamed about having her own clothing line for many years.

“I’m so excited to be able to share what I’ve been working on for the past six months. It’s so surreal,” she said.

Princess Polly released its first influencer-designed collection with Cartia Mallan in late 2017.
