New fashion marketplace aiming to showcase emerging brands

A new online fashion destination, WEAR United, has launched in Australia with the aim of showcasing emerging brands, designers and independent boutiques.

Customers will find a range of curated womens, mens, and childrenswear, as well as accessories and footwear picked from small brands and boutiques across Australia, according to founder Inés López.

“WEAR United was created from my love of fashion and value for independent and local Australian business,” López said.

“Up-and-coming brands and bricks-and-mortar boutiques may not have the resources or access to the expertise needed to refine and grow their businesses online, which limits their potential. It’s almost impossible to compete with global fashion companies as a new brand or small boutique.”

According to López, WEAR United will unite smaller fashion firms in one place, making it easier for customers to find them and lowering the barrier to online for the brands.

At launch, the site offers products from Hoss boutique, Jillian Boustred, KARMME, Hemera & Nyx, Dref by D, and Von-Röutte.
