Luke Grana got the idea for his online apparel company, Grana, on a trip to South America, where he discovered the superior quality of Peruvian Pima cotton.
The online pureplay retailer has been focused on making clothes from quality fabrics and selling them at affordable prices ever since.
With its core customer firmly situated in the millennial demographic, Grana has a strong incentive to stay connected to its ‘authentic’ roots.
“We recently did a campaign where we sent four Instagrammers to our fabric origins and actually met the fabric mill and took photos and videos of the fabric mill. And that was really well received by our community,” Grana told Internet Retailing.
