Kogan relaunches Dick Smith

Following the closure of the final bricks and mortar Dick Smith stores yesterday, has relaunched the electrical retailer as a pureplay online retailer and is out to win back customers. acquired the Dick Smith brand and online business in March, after administrators failed to find a buyer to take on the embattled retailer as a going concern.

The new redesigned and websites have gone live today, one month ahead of schedule.

“Dick Smith’s recent history has been disappointing for many Australians, but for millions of us, it is an iconic brand we all know and love. We will work hard to restore the faith Australians have put in the Dick Smith brand for almost 50 years,” said David Shafer, executive director of and Dick Smith.
