The Iconic launches J.Crew in Australia

Local online retailer, The Iconic, last week launched popular American brand, J.Crew, across both women and men’s apparel, footwear and accessories.

The move adds another name to the list of top American brands available on the Rocket Internet-backed fashion site, including Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, Michael Kors, Saturdays NYC and Levi’s.

The Iconic currently offers more than 800 local and international brands, with 200 new styles arriving daily.

Donned by perennial fashionistas such as Meghan Markle, Kate Middleton and Michelle Obama, J.Crew is known for timeless, premium-quality pieces at high-street prices.

“J.Crew is one of those brands that has a special sartorial place in every fashion lover’s heart,” said The Iconic’s executive advisor, Donna Player.

“As a brand with such a strong signature aesthetic, yet boasts the ability to reinvent itself year on year, proves its aptitude for defining true style.

“We at The Iconic are incredibly proud, with the addition of J.Crew to brand assortment and look forward to what our new partnership brings Australia and New Zealand shoppers.”

The brand launched with a select range of favourite styles, though the assortment is set to rapidly expand over the coming weeks.

The Iconic’s chief category management officer Mareile Osthus said the launch is testament to how the company is constantly strengthening its position as the top fashion destination in Australia and New Zealand.

“As one of America’s most well-known and iconic brands, we’re thrilled our customers will now be able to shop J.Crew on The Iconic,” she said.
