Fashion label Incu partners with Uber for fast deliveries

Luxury fashion retailer Incu and Uber Direct are partnering to allow customers to shop on Incu and receive their items from store to door in less than two hours.

According to the brands, customers in Sydney and Melbourne can shop full-priced items from the Incu Sydney Galeries, Melbourne CBD, and Chadstone stores with an “unparalleled level of convenience”.

“We’ve found that shopping isn’t restricted to 9-5, Monday to Friday. We want to make sure that we are exceeding expectations as our products are an emotional purchase which should carry all the way to delivery,” said Incu CEO Doug Low.

“Our biggest shopping days in store are always on the weekend, but we feel like part of this is due to having that instant gratification and we’re hoping that by partnering with Uber we can fit around consumers’ lifestyles, while still giving them that feel-good moment over the weekend.”

Customers will be able to follow their packages using real-time maps provided by Uber Direct and receive live updates. For the first two weeks of the partnership, purchases will be delivered for free, after that a fixed rate of $20 will apply.
