eBay welcomes Myer to the marketplace
Iconic Australian department store Myer has opened an online store on the eBay marketplace.
The eBay Myer store will feature a curated range of more than 10,000 products across a number of categories including Miss Shop, beauty, women’s, men’s, children & toys, home and electrical.
Tim Mackinnon, eBay Senior Director Retail Growth, welcome Myer to the eBay ecosystem.
“Myer is an Australian icon and we are thrilled to welcome them on to eBay as they innovate and grow their online offering,” Mackinnon said.
“Australian retailers are embracing change and looking for new ways to engage customers, both offline and online. We are proud to help Australian retailers by making it easier for shoppers to access the brands they know and love wherever, and however they choose to shop.”
Mark Cripsey, Myer chief digital and data officer, said the new online storefront will give their customers a new way to shop.
“Our online store is already one of the most popular shopping sites in Australia and our partnership with eBay is another opportunity for customers to connect with us in a way that suits them,” Cripsey said.
The addition of Myer’s dedicated eBay store means eBay is now home to more than 30 of Australia’s top 50 retailers. There are also more than 28,000 small businesses operating on eBay.
