DoorDash extends service to more regional Australian areas
Food delivery platform DoorDash has extended its service to more regional Australian towns and cities offering residents and businesses broader access to its services.
The company says customers in 13 regional areas can now have their food and grocery orders delivered in 35 minutes.
Services are available in Alice Springs, Bathurst, Bowral – Mittagong, Burnie, Coffs Harbour, Devonport, Gladstone – Tannum Sands, Lismore, Nowra – Bomaderry, Orange, Port Macquarie, Tamworth, Warragul – Drouin.
Puji Fernando, DoorDash’s GM for Australia, said the company is excited to be able to give individuals and families the option to have their groceries delivered to them within an hour in addition to helping support local restaurants.
In August, the company expanded its services to six new regions in Queensland, NSW, and South Australia.
