Catch Marketplace celebrates two years with fashion expansion

Online marketplace Catch has further expanded its marketplace’s fashion offering, recently welcoming a number of new fashion labels to the site.

Catch has introduced labels such as LOVER, Beme, Lovisa, Noni B, Rockmans, Cooper St, Black Pepper, Yarra Trail, and W Lane.

The announcements come as Catch Marketplace celebrates its second birthday.

“Since its launch two years ago, Catch Marketplace has been a huge success,” Catch Group chief executive Nati Narpaz said.

“Fashion is continuing to grow as our current and new customers discover just how broad our range is, enjoy the brand selection and great prices.”

According to Harpaz, the ethos of Catch Group has been one of customer value and convenience.

“That same principle applies to our suppliers and the brands we work with. Catch is a trusted name and the fact that so many Australian and international brands choose to range their brands on Catch is a testament to that,” Harpaz said.

“We are delighted to welcome even more fashion brands to our portfolio of sellers, offering Aussies the latest fashion and a growing product range.”

Catch Group was recently acquired by retail conglomerate Wesfarmers for approximately $230 million, which said the e-commerce company presented an opportunity to accelerate the digital and e-commerce capabilities in its Kmart and Target businesses.

“When you add the broader range of categories and capabilities we have acquired through Catch, we have a strong portfolio of brands, with distinctive offers to customers that differentiates us from our competitors and allow us to meet the evolving needs of customers in the future,” Wesfarmers managing director Rob Scott said.

Kmart Group managing director Ian Bailey said Catch would continue operating as an independent business unit.
