Cashrewards reports $2 million milestone in Starlight donations

Cashrewards has donated $2 million to Starlight Children’s Foundation, as the cashback app matches 1 per cent of the withdrawals of its members and donates both to the charity.

“We were founded in Sydney in 2014 by Andrew and Lorica Clarke after their son developed and survived a serious illness. Seeking a way to give back to those who supported them, they created a business with a real purpose at its core,” said Cashrewards CEO Anthony Seymour-Walsh.

“Our members also play a huge part in this achievement; shoppers are not only saving money and earning cashback. They’re also supporting a worthy cause with every shop through Cashrewards.”

Cashrewards said that the donation has helped over 50,000 seriously ill children and their families to date.

Currently, Cashrewards has more than 2 million members and offers cashback for over 2000 brands including Apple, Amazon, Myer, Adidas, Bonds, Target, Booking.com, and The Iconic.
