Nathan is a strategic leader who has led teams, defined strategies and delivered solutions across digital, marketing, eCommerce and IT. Prior to 12HIGH, Nathan worked across corporate, agency and supplier organisations to drive change.
Most recently, Nathan was Group Digital Manager at Super Retail Group where he led digital strategy, operations and innovation across Supercheap Auto, BCF and rebel. In his six years at Super Retail Group, Nathan is most proud of establishing SRG’s Test & Learn capability, significantly growing eCommerce revenue and transforming the culture by establishing new ways of working. This was achieved through initiatives such as replatforming the eCommerce sites onto Salesforce Commerce Cloud, leading the digital transformation programme and establishing the OmniRetail strategy for the Group. Nathan has been awarded in the Top 50 People in eCommerce for four years running and was ranked as number six in 2018.
In his time in creative, media and social agencies, Nathan worked across clients including Federal and State Governments, Retail Food Group, QUT, Triumph, Heritage Bank and Parmalat. Nathan led strategy which aligned creative, media and digital to ensure customer engagement and efficient investment. Achievements in this time included establishing Australia’s first social media listening tool, establishing digital channels for multiple clients and winning QLD Agency of the year on a number of occasions.
Nathan is a big advocate of side projects. His current side project is running The Digital Social. This is a regular event to connect Brisbane’s digital community. One of the funnest side projects he established was a running shorts company from scratch called Running Duds.
Outside of work, Nathan lives in Brisbane with his wife and two young children, loves his sport and is dreadfully colour blind. He wants to help organisations who are creating a better future (especially clean energy and education) and promote the amazing people doing interesting things in Brisbane.
