Australia’s largest bargain website turns 10

Australia’s largest bargain website, OzBargain, is celebrating their 10th birthday. To celebrate this milestone, they will be hosting a once in a decade shopping event.

“We decided that we should have a 48-hour sale event as a “thank you” for both our community members and valued retailers over the years,” said founder Scott Yang.

The event is offering bargains on a range of categories including flights, hotels, laptops, electronics, beauty products, wine and number of other areas. Retailers such as Cathay Pacific, Amcal, Catch of the Day, Lenovo, Wotif and QBD are just a few of the retailers offering deals for the event.

OzBargain was recently cited by Roy Morgan Research as the fastest growing site in the online shopping category.

“Nearly half of Australians agree they sometimes research products online but then go buy them offline, and the success of OzBargain’s platform proves that many consumers are deeply engaged in omni-channel shopping,” said Michele Levine, CEO of Roy Morgan Research.

OzBargain‘s 10th birthday event starts at 12PM on the 21st of November.
