Amazon launches product recall, safety alerts feature
Amazon has launched a ‘Your Recalls and Product Safety Alerts’ page to inform customers about product recalls and safety for items they purchased from the e-commerce platform.
Customers will also receive a personalised email with details about the recall including a link to their personal ‘Your Recalls and Product Safety Alerts’ page.
The page will also include information about potential safety hazards and options such as a refund, return, or repair.
Amazon said that the new feature along with other initiatives such as seller verification and compliance programs allows customers to shop confidently.
