Woolworths opens all of its online stores to third-party sellers
Woolworths Group has opened its online stores to third-party sellers through the launching of Woolworths MarketPlus.
Woolworths MarketPlus will enable third-party merchants to sell products across the supermarket chain’s businesses including MyDeal, Everyday Market, and the newly launched Big W Market.
“It’s been a year since Woolworths Group acquired MyDeal and during this time we have been focused on harnessing our technology, experience and capability to power our group-wide marketplace capabilities,” said Sean Senvirtne, MyDeal founder and Woolworths Market Plus MD.
“We’re excited to launch BIG W Market, leveraging our core proprietary platform and third-party sellers. We look forward to helping our customers access even more exciting household brands and local businesses, as we prepare to scale the BIG W Market offering in the coming months.”
Meanwhile, with the Big W Market, customers can now choose from a wide range of offerings from Big W and marketplace sellers. As part of the launch, customers can avail of free shipping of Big W Market products.
