Temple & Webster rebrand Wayfair Australia

Temple & Webster has relaunched its latest acquisition, Wayfair Australia, as Zizo.

At the end of July, Boston-based Wayfair Inc, one of the world’s largest online destinations for home furnishings and décor, announced it had sold its Australian business to Temple & Webster in order to focus on its North American and European operations.

Six weeks after closing the deal, Zizo – which roughly translates “it’s easy” or “it’s done” in Dutch – has gone live with a fresh new brand and positioning.

Mike Henriques, general manager, Zizo, said the new acquisition complements Temple & Webster’s existing offering.

“The T&W business is all about providing that inspiration to consumers. It has a model of presenting beautifully styled products every day to a closed group of consumers via its email platforms. It’s probably closer to a magazine experience,” Henriques said.

“Zizo, I guess, is the ying to its yang. We aim to reach those search customers that are looking for something in particular, and we help them find what they need from our extensive selection.”
