Splitit, AliExpress partner to offer pay after delivery option

Melbourne-based technology company Splitit Payments has partnered with Alipay to offer a ‘Pay After Delivery’ option for shoppers.

Customers on AliExpress, the global e-commerce marketplace owned by Alibaba Group, can now pay for goods after delivery with their existing credit card.

The service is currently launched in Germany, France and Spain with plans to expand into other international markets.

Nandan Sheth, CEO of ASX-listed Splitit, said: “Our work with Alipay is a testament to the flexibility of Splitit’s platform and the strength of our new partnership with Checkout.com.

“Together we are providing a valuable resource for sellers and shoppers by powering payment after delivery.”

AliExpress’ European commercial director, Topp Gary Paul, said Splitit’s white-label approach enables the company to deliver a “positive experience” for both sellers and shoppers.
