Sneaker marketplace creates New Zealand-specific online storefront
Sneaker and streetwear marketplace, StockX, has added New Zealand currency to its site due to increasing interest and activity from Kiwis.
The marketplace has also reduced shipping fees for buyers from US$40 (NZ$62) to NZ$39.95 and introduced all-in-ask pricing to enhance and simplify the customer experience.
“As we expand to new markets, our priority remains to provide access to the current culture items our customers love in an authentic, local fashion,” said Kelly Godfrey, director at StockX ANZ.
Launched in 2016, StockX employs more than 1000 people across offices and 11 authentication centres around the world. The platform offers items such as streetwear, sneakers, and collectibles from hundreds of brands, including Jordan Brand, Adidas, Nike, Supreme, Bape, Off-White, Louis Vuitton, and Gucci; and from artists including Kaws and Takashi Murakami.
