Samsonite offers digital ordering platform in new Brisbane Airport store
Travel luggage retailer Samsonite has opened its first airport mono-brand store in Australia equipped with a digital ordering platform.
The new store, which features Samsonite’s latest fit-out design and “endless aisles” digital platform, is located at the domestic terminal in Brisbane Airport.
The company’s new digital ordering platform allows travellers to shop from the entire Samsonite offer with free home delivery anywhere in Australia.
“The company believes this will be the perfect solution for travellers who have already checked-in, or those not able to take larger items with them on their travels,” the retailer said.
Matt Gardiner, Samsonite Australia’s general manager for Retail & Strategy, said with Brisbane Airport having new redevelopment plans for its domestic terminal, the company believes now was the perfect opportunity for them to open their first mono-brand Samsonite store in Australia and to roll out their new in-store digital ordering platform.
Samsonite Australia announced it will open more retail stores in other Australian airports in the next 12 months.
