ParcelPoint partners with Amazon

More than 1000 of ParcelPoint’s stores will double as Amazon Pickup Points, meaning Australians shopping on Amazon.com can opt to ship their orders to ParcelPoint stores for pickup instead of to their homes.

“We are proud to offer customers in Australia a convenient option for picking up their parcel when it works for them,” said Nader Kabbani, VP of worldwide transportation at Amazon.

Julian Leach, ParcelPoint GM and co-founder, said Australians want delivery options that suit their busy lifestyles.

“We are delighted to be working with Amazon to offer online shoppers a new way to ship their products to Australia, as well as an Australia first enabling customers to pick up their Amazon.com purchases when and where it suits them,” he said.

“By providing access to our ParcelPoint stores across the country, which are open late and at weekends, Amazon is adding unparalleled convenience for their customers. As the holiday season approaches, shoppers can choose to have their orders shipped to a ParcelPoint location, ensuring gifts remain a surprise until they are unwrapped without having to worry about missing an important delivery.”
