Online bathroom retailer The Blue Space expands space 10-fold
Australian online bathroom retailer The Blue Space has moved its distribution centre to Bella Vista, and compared to its previous location in Castle Hill the new space is ten times larger, increasing stock holding capacity to meet consumer demand.
“The move will significantly boost our capabilities and allow us to ‘instant ship’ out to customers, with more products in stock and ready to send at the touch of a button,” says Josh Mammoliti, General Manager at The Blue Space.
According to research commissioned by the retailer, 1 out of 3 Australians plan to renovate in 2021, and retailers in the home renovation space will need to adapt to the increase in demand for their products and services.
“With Australian’s spending more time at home over the last year, we have also seen a spike in plans to renovate and improve their houses,” he added.
The transition also sees the launch of a new virtual showroom that will allow buyers to access product previews while providing professional advice from a product and renovation expert. The new location also includes a state-of-the-art office and corporate hub, allowing the company to create more jobs and hire new roles.
