MyDeal launches native mobile apps for iOS and Android

Online marketplace MyDeal has launched native iOS and Android mobile apps to enhance both its customer experience and customer retention.

The launch of the new apps will allow its 883,000 active customers to shop from 6 million products via a dedicated experience built for smart phones.

The MyDeal app also provides other features such as app-specific discount coupons, shop-by-room navigation, checkout management and ‘shop the look’ visual search functionality.

“While our website is already mobile-optimised and personalised to each user, we know that customers use the website differently when they’re accessing it through mobile devices,” said Sean Senvirtne, founder and CEO of MyDeal.

“The native apps are a key part of our growth strategy of improving conversion and retention rates.”

Senvirtne said the launch mitigates customer friction on the platform by allowing those using mobile channels to access additional features and interact and compare prices across product range.
