Mr Pool Man, Nakie and Shh!t Happens win top Orias
Businesses recognised for innovation, sustainability, and diversity have been honoured at this year’s Online Retail Industry Awards (Orias).
Australia Post executive GM of Parcel, post and e-commerce services, Gary Starr, said the awards honour retailers that continue to raise the standard for the online retail sector.
“We’ve proudly supported the Orias for many years because they recognise the Australian businesses raising the standard for online retail,” Starr said.
The Australia Post Impact Awards recognised Mr Pool Man, Nakie, and Shh!t Happens for their contributions to innovation, sustainability, and social impact in online retail.
Mr Pool Man won the Small Business Innovation Award for using digital retail and customer-focused services to simplify pool maintenance for homeowners nationwide.
Outdoor lifestyle brand Nakie received the Sustainability Impact Award for its range of products made from recycled materials and its commitment to planting a tree for every purchase.
The Diversity and Inclusion Impact Award went to disability-owned social enterprise Shh!t Happens, which produces locally-made toilet paper and household essentials while promoting disability representation and creating employment opportunities for people with disability.
“This year’s Impact Award winners have each taken a different approach to success, but all share a commitment to delivering for customers while creating meaningful outcomes for the communities they serve,” added Starr.
