Menulog pledges support for Deliveroo couriers and customers
Menulog says it is stepping in to help thousands of delivery drivers and customers impacted by the collapse of meal-delivery platform Deliveroo last week.
Menulog has also promised consumers to redeem any unused Deliveroo vouchers and gift cards on its platform.
Morten Belling, MD of Menulog, said the business is willing to extend job opportunities to couriers who are looking to be employed again.
“We know there are couriers out there who will be feeling the impact of this. Thousands of small businesses around Australia are increasingly reliant on the income generated through delivery partners.”
Belling says Menulog will provide any safety gear required by drivers, helping them get back to delivering orders and earning an income as quickly as possible.
