The majority of Australians are stressed with some aspects of the holiday season, which include choosing the right gifts, staying on budget, and shopping for food, decorations or presents.
Research from Microsoft shows Australians spend an average of 27 hours on holiday tasks such as travel planning, gift shopping, and event organisation.
Due to this, about 77 per cent of Australians are stressed with the holiday season, with about 72 per cent having a hard time finding a gift for at least one person on their list.
The study also found that 47 per cent are open to using artificial intelligence to streamline holiday tasks which also include meal planning and finding holiday recipes.
With AI, Microsoft claims that 37 per cent of its respondents said they would be able to spend more quality family time while another 37 per cent said they would catch up on sleep.
