Maggie Beer Holdings to launch new categories, partnerships online

Gourmet foods group Maggie Beer Holdings plans to expand into new categories in retail and online after full-year sales soften.

The company which owns brands including Maggie Beer Products, Paris Creek Farms and Hampers & Gifts Australia said net sales fell 1.4 per cent to $88.7 million with a reported tax-paid profit of $460,000 for the year to June 30.

CEO of Maggie Beer Holdings, Kinda Grange, said the business remains focused on operational discipline while continuing to invest in key areas to strengthen and expand brands.

“The Maggie Beer brand will enter new categories in retail and online and see a refreshed approach to marketing.

“In e-commerce, we will leverage our platform and customer base with new partnerships and categories and at Paris Creek Farms, we are focused on implementing the cheese capital expenditure upgrade.”

For the upcoming financial year, the business says it will focus on leveraging its strengths to meet changing customer needs as market conditions remain uncertain and support the execution of its five-year strategy.
