Live streams will draw virtual crowds to TikTok Fashion Month

TikTok Fashion Month is making its return, bringing fashion runways to the popular short-video app’s community.

Participated by fashion houses, creators and celebrities, the event will feature a series of live streams featuring runway shows and moments with the TikTok community’s favourite fashion icons.

“Our first-ever TikTok Fashion Month gave the TikTok community a front row seat to runway shows and luxury fashion while at home,” said CeCe Vu, lead, fashion & beauty partnerships, TikTok. “This year we’ll be providing that same access while creating an even more inclusive experience that puts our community and creators first.”

TikTok Fashion Month is organised in partnership with IMG, Federation de la Haute Couture et de la Mode, and the British Fashion Council.

The TikTok Runway Finale will close out Fashion Month on March 18. Hosted by Frankie Jonas, the virtual runway live stream will feature collections from Black designers Glemaud and Carrots by Anwar Carrots, and TikTok creator Joe Ando.

“It is inspiring to see TikTok use their platform to celebrate diversity and body positivity in fashion, which I have always been passionate about,” said Victor Glemaud, CEO and creative director at Victor Glemaud.

“I am very much looking forward to seeing some of my favourite looks modelled by such extraordinary talent Te’a Cooper, A’ja Wilson, Zahra Hashimee, Kristine Thompson, and Tati Bruening!”.
