Jets relaunches online under new ownership

Five months after being picked up by fellow fashion firm Seafolly, swimwear brand Jets is relaunching to market today, with its new collections available online and through department stores until February.

Seafolly chief executive Brendan Santamaria told Inside Retail he was excited to this new chapter for Jets, and that together the group would bring the brand back to an industry leading position.

“We’re really excited to be re-launching the Jets brand back into the marketplace this December,” Santamaria told Inside Retail.

“The collection looks stronger than ever and signifies the brand’s comeback to the industry, with the globally recognised Bridget Malcolm as the face of the campaign.”

The new collection, called Connection, takes inspiration from vintage hotel papers and resort glamour, and features tropical and animal prints.

Jets was previously owned by PAS Group but was picked up by Seafolly when both businesses were still in administration earlier this year. At the time, administrator Scott Langdon of Korda Mentha said the two businesses served different markets, and a combination made sense.
