Gucci launches flagship store on JD platform

Luxury fashion house Gucci has partnered with JD to launch its digital flagship store on the e-commerce platform. 

The launch emphasises Gucci and JD’s dedication to technological innovation and represents an important turning point in their cooperation.

JD offers digital solutions to meet a range of needs in the digital ecosystem. Meanwhile, Gucci will improve shopping experiences that are customised to the preferences of JD’s customer base, strengthen its market reach in China, and pioneer innovative approaches to digital marketing.

The app’s “Gucci” search function allows users to browse the house’s official flagship store and buy their preferred products, in addition to a complete variety of Gucci brand services. 

Customers can also have access to the store’s wide selection of classic pieces and new-season ready-to-wear, purses, travel, shoes, jewellery, watches, and accessories for both men and women. Before placing their orders for the desired products, they will also get exclusive access to Gucci’s online customer advisor service.

Gucci’s official flagship store on JD will provide a variety of presents that highlight the house’s craftsmanship and romantic style in honour of the forthcoming Chinese Valentine’s Day on August 22. 

The gifts, which have floral designs that stand for the blossoming of love and emotions, will also feature a handbag made especially for JD consumers to commemorate this occasion.
