Ebay takes to Canal Street, opening an authentic streetwear store

Ebay has opened “Canal Street Wear,” a retail store in New York City that offers authentic streetwear and trainers from top Ebay sellers. 

Shoppers will be able to purchase real goods from the brands, as certified by an Ebay Authenticity Guarantee – the marketplace’s authentication service, which has just been expanded to streetwear.

“Enthusiasts go to Ebay to find every drop from the past few decades, from late 90’s Supreme and Virgil era Louis Vuitton to younger brands like Palace and Aime Leon Dore,” said Charis Marquez, global VP of Fashion at Ebay.

Canal Street Wear builds on recent improvements to Ebay’s fashion purchasing experience, including the extension of the Ebay Authenticity Guarantee, the debut of Ebay consignment, and the acquisition of Certilogo, an AI-powered authentication provider. 

Canal Street Wear’s inventory is sourced from top-rated Ebay vendors including NYMilan, RIF, and Soled Out Jersey City. Customers can choose from Supreme Morrisey t-shirts, Off-White sweatshirts, Nike x Comme des Garcons sneakers, and a variety of Aime Leon Dore New Balance footwear.
