Ebay, Hubbed partner to offer drop-off returns

E-commerce technology solution company Hubbed has teamed up with Ebay to offer a new drop-off returns alternative for customers.

Customers can now drop off returns at more than 3000 locations nationally including local BP service stations, Pack and Send, National Storage and independent retailers.

This new feature builds on the existing Click & Pick service offered by the company where consumers can pick up parcels from retail locations at extended hours.

David McLean, founder and CEO of Hubbed, said convenience is the “overriding factor” people consider when it comes to picking up and returning parcels.

“Our recent research revealed 61 per cent of consumers prefer to return their parcels to a point that is close to home and at a time that suits them via a Pick-Up Drop-Off (Pudo) network.”

Marie Griffiths, head of shipping at Ebay Australia, said the new feature is a “convenient, secure and sustainable” returns option that accommodates busy schedules.
