DFI Retail Group expands Yuu into broader online platform

DFI Retail Group has expanded its loyalty program Yuu into an online shopping platform dubbed ‘Yuu To Me’.

Little more than two years after its launch the program – which operates across multiple retail chains linked to Dairy Farm Group and others – has built a database of 4 million members in Hong Kong.

Now, Yuu has been expanded to incorporate a new e-commerce platform offering more than 30,000 fresh produce and groceries items from a variety of retailers, including Wellcome, Market Place, Mannings and 7-Eleven, while connecting with online sites of Ikea, KFC, Pizza Hut, Maxim’s Cakes and Arome Bakery. Hong Kong customers can now have their orders delivered within one day and earn Yuu points all from the one app.

CEO of DFI Digital, Johnny Wong, said the launch will further enhance the O2O experience for customers.

“In order to best meet our customers’ needs, we will therefore continue to expand the ‘Yuuinverse’ with our trusted partners, and provide the freshest possible items with unprecedented convenience, enabling members to shop whenever and however they want,” Wong added.

Launched in 2020, Yuu has now rewarded members with around 130 billion points with over 80 billion points redeemed. Through the share Points function, DFI Retail Group and Yuu members have together donated over 650 million points to the two non-profits Foodlink and Helping Hand, offering much-needed support to local communities.
