Catch commissions its first distribution centre outside Victoria
Catch has opened its automated distribution centre in the Moorebank suburb of Sydney, the company’s first distribution centre outside Victoria.
The new 45,000sqm distribution centre features over 368 Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) in operation.
“The Catch.com.au Moorebank facility is a testament to what can be achieved when cutting-edge technology meets visionary operational strategy,” said Anthony Beavis, MD of ANZ at Korber Supply Chain Software, a partner of Catch.
Beavis noted that “advanced automation can transform supply chain operations, driving efficiency and meeting the ever-increasing demands of modern consumers”.
Catch is a subsidiary of Wesfarmers and now comes under the Kmart Group.
