BigCommerce backs headless commerce trend

BigCommerce has teamed up with TA Digital on a headless commerce integration that aims to give businesses the ability to plug a wide range of e-commerce functionalities from Adobe into their platform without disrupting the architecture.

The integration, called BigCommerce for Adobe Experience Manger, was built specifically for the digital experience platform and developed in partnership with TA Digital.

Among the key features are the ability to deliver tailored customer experiences based on data; fast, PCI-compliant checkouts and auto page category creation, where businesses can sync their catalog, user and product data to automatically populate product category and detail pages, helping to reduce time to market.

“BigCommerce has become the industry’s best platform for supporting headless commerce implementations on leading third-party content management systems and digital experience platforms,” said Brent Bellm, CEO at BigCommerce.

“Following our previously-announced headless commerce integrations into WordPress, Acquia and BloomReach, we are excited to extend our availability to power great brands and agencies with world-class commerce experiences built through Adobe.”

Online retailers are increasingly embracing headless commerce as a way to offer best-in-class features and solutions without making their backends more complex and prone to breaking down.
