What was your best day in eCommerce, what did you sell and how did you drive those sales?
Best day is always boxing day. We have huge traffic concurrently and we do 2 x 12 hour sales – 30% for 12 hours first and then 40% for 12 hours. The idea is do you wait or jump in? Do you risk it or get it quick?
What is the most beneficial traffic and subscription driver to your site/s? Is it Press/Media, Social Media, SEO PPC, Affiliate?
Social Media and SEO – these customers know what they are looking for and want to interact with your brand.
What are your biggest eCommerce challenges?
Working in a competitive market and staying profitable. We are not a monopoly so making sure we are doing the best we can for our customers because they choose us.
What do you predict for the future of your business and eCommerce?
Growth of course. I believe Beginning Boutique is starting to be and can increase our reach as an international brand – this is something we have been working towards since day one.
What is the Critical Success Factor in your business ?
Good cashflow management and a huge respect and love for our customers. We put them first meaning I pack packages on christmas day to get them out faster. Whatever we can do to go above and beyond is exactly what I do. And more importantly what the team does.
