Australia Post and Ebay launch ‘Print in Store’ shipping label service

Australia Post and Ebay Australia have introduced a new ‘Print in Store’ capability designed to simplify the shipping process for online sellers.

Ebay sellers can generate a QR code through the Ebay platform to print shipping labels at participating Post Offices.

The service is provided at no additional cost and eliminates the requirement for sellers to own a home printer.

The initiative allows users to print labels and lodge their parcels during a single visit to a Post Office.

Chelsea O’Reilly, Australia Post GM enterprise and government, said that the offering aims to support small businesses and individual sellers by reducing friction in the sending process.

According to Australia Post’s latest e-commerce report, 9.8 million Australian households engaged in online shopping over the past year.

The ‘Print in Store’ feature follows a previous collaboration between the two companies, which introduced an ‘Extra Small’ parcel option for items under 250g.
