Aromababy debuts new gift range on Myer Market
Natural skincare brand Aromababy last week revealed it is one of the first brands to sign on to Myer Market, the department store’s online marketplace, which is currently in beta.
Aromababy founder Catherine Cervasio said the partnership caps off a long relationship with Myer.
“For much of fifteen years, Aromababy was the only baby skincare offering in the nursery department [at Myer],” she said.
“Over that time we have seen a handful of brands come and go, however as a specialist in our sector, we had a loyal customer base that could always depend on Myer for having our products.”
Cervasio said Aromababy’s early positioning in Myer has been integral to its success with international customers, particularly from China, who often visit the department store to view which quality, Australian baby products were on shelves.
But new retail partnerships, including with duty free stores such as Think Sydney, are helping to build brand awareness amongst inbound and outbound tourism.
Myer Market presents another such opportunity for Aromababy to reach new customers and expand its range.
It has launched a new range of gift products, including exfoliating body scrub with raw sugar and grapefruit and soothing bath salts with sea salt and sandalwood, along with a limited edition soy-based candle, on the marketplace.
“There is a distinct lack of beautiful, organic new mother gifts. The bath salts and body scrub are unique and can be used during pregnancy and afterwards – they are perfect impulse buys when shoppers are purchasing baby gifts and want an add-on,” Cervasio said.
“The candle is more luxurious and boasts a unique, 100 per cent aromatherapy fragrance. It has been made in Australia and comes in a custom-designed jar and embossed lid container. It is also gift-boxed in chic silver and white packaging.
“These are available on the new e-commerce site and are shipped daily, directly from our warehouse which means we can tailor gift cards and customise orders easily.”
