Adulttoymegastore’s Australian sales surge – here’s what shoppers are buying
Online adult toy retailer Adultoymegastore (ATMS) has witnessed a surge in revenue in Australia on the back of higher demand from early adults to middle-aged customers.
The New Zealand-headquartered sex toys merchant said it booked a revenue of 342.78 per cent in Australia from 2019 to 2023. The Australian market accounts for 56.6 per cent of the company’s total sales.
About 30 per cent of the Australian buyers are aged 25 to 34, the company said, while noting an increase in male customers.
ATMS noted that its app-controlled vibrators, Share Satisfaction branded products, enema and douches, We-Vibe branded products, and jewelled butt plugs categories experienced substantial sales growth in Australia.
It sold 25,000 units of Satisfyer Pro 2 Generation 2 in the country since 2019, making it the bestseller in the Australian market.
In addition, ATMS said that its Share Satisfaction Masturbator Egg is the current favourite male toy after selling 5,000 units of the product since 2019.
“Australia has always been an important market for us to make waves in, and establishing ourselves as a key player there is a welcomed milestone. ATMS experienced substantial growth last year, with 32.67 per cent of sales originating from the ATMS Australian website domain,” said Nicola Relph, owner-operator at ATMS.
“We have seen an increase in men due to their shyness around toys decreasing and the fact that they buy on behalf of their partner who often informs them what to get.”
