Vinnies Victoria launches e-commerce platform
Op shop Vinnies Victoria has launched an e-commerce platform, tapping into the growing demand for online shopping.
“The idea sparked during the Covid-19 pandemic, a time when our shops were forced to close their doors,” said Liz Randle, Vinnies Victoria’s head of merchandise and retail innovation.
“That period highlighted the vulnerability of relying solely on physical locations for revenue and sparked a realisation that we needed to evolve – not just to stay relevant – but to ensure we could continue supporting individuals and families in need.”
The online store’s offerings include clothing, home decor, electrical, beauty, toys, manchester, technology, and entertainment.
Prior to having its own online store, Vinnies Victoria sold select products through online retail platforms including Ebay and Depop.
