Umall unveils new online Asian supermarket

Online grocery platform Umall Asian Supermarket has launched its new website, which it says offers an improved shopping experience.

Umall has more than 20,000 SKUs including fresh vegetables, meat, seafood, dairy, bakery items, frozen foods, pantry essentials, snacks, drinks, and beauty and personal care products.

The supermarket has launched a pilot same-day delivery program in select Sydney postcodes on top of its ongoing free next-day delivery service for orders over $59.

“We believe the launch of our new website is a significant milestone for Umall,” said Mickey Gerrard, business development manager at Umall.

“This is a very important step for us as it allows us to bring our diverse range of products directly to our customers’ doorsteps, making their shopping experience more convenient and enjoyable.”

New users will receive a 10 per cent discount on their first purchase and customers who spend over $69 can choose from a selection of gifts.

Moving forward, the supermarket plans to roll out a mobile app, personalised shopping recommendations based on previous orders, and expanded delivery zones in Sydney.
