PayPal launches Australian online sales event

PayPal has partnered with Click Frenzy to launch its biggest online sales event in Australia to date, featuring more than 200 fashion, beauty, home, and tech brands offering discounts of up to 80 per cent.
The PayPal Frenzy event will begin at 7 pm on March 4 and run through to midnight on March 10.
“In a climate where Aussies are having to watch their hip pockets, sales can be a great tactic to spread money further,” said Caitlin Hoey, head of consumer marketing at PayPal.
PayPal is also promoting its Buy Now, Pay Later option PayPal Pay in four which splits the cost of an item into four equal amounts with out late fees or interest.
Participating brands include Chemist Warehouse, The Iconic, Temu, Webjet, Sennheiser, Petbarn, Manning Cartell, Decathlon, and Fila.
Last month, Paypal said its revenue increased 4 per cent to $8.4 billion and total payment volume rose 7 per cent in the fourth quarter.
