Beer Fans to sell offline through BWS stores

Online marketplace for branded beer merchandise Beer Fans has partnered with Endeavour Drinks Group to trial selling merchandise in physical stores.
A BWS concept store in Mt Hawthorn in east Perth will be the first to run this trial as a part of the ‘supporting local’ sales initiative. Shoppers can buy merchandise from breweries such as Beerfarm, Gage Roads Brew Co and CBCo Brewing with new stock rotating every month.
Joe Cook, GM and founder of Beer Fans, said the company’s retail wing is another avenue to build a beer brand “beyond beer”.
“We provide an end-to-end solution for beer branded merch sales both online and now in-store. Adding value to our brands is a key growth initiative and given merchandise for BWS is bought upfront there is no risk, just upside.”
Billy Ryan category manager for craft beer & cider at Endeavour Drinks said “complementing” beer with merchandise has been a long-term aim of the company.
Phase one of the trial will extend to 20 to 30 stores and will grow further depending on the success of this venture. Through this partnership, Beer Fans will be able to tap into a network of 1600 of Endeavour Group’s retail stores.
