Woolworths head of digital commerce departs for AMP

After a decade with the supermarket giant, Woolworths’ group head digital commerce & contact centres, Tzipi Avioz, has accepted a new position with AMP.

Avioz will join AMP as IT director, customer solutions on April 18, 2016.

Swapping retail for financial services, Avioz brings significant experience driving large business/IT transformations to her new role, as well as a passion for innovation and empowering the customer.

Originally from Israel, Avioz moved to Australia in 2006 and that year joined Woolworths as a senior development manager. Prior to being promoted to her current role, Avioz was head of online for Woolworths-owned Masters Home Improvement, and was responsible for launching the e-commerce site in 2011.

In Israel she was CIO of Tiv Taam Group, one of the country’s most innovative retail chains.
